Jane Thomas Pilates Celebration of Movement Day
Jane Thomas has been teaching Pilates in the area for 25 years now. One of the first swathe of Pilates teachers in the UK, Jane’s classes have been running in school halls and community halls around Loughborough and the local district since then, with literally thousands of people enjoying Pilates with her since 1999. Even the pandemic couldn’t stop Jane: when her face-to-face group classes and one-to-one sessions had to stop due to lockdown she took them online so that members could access her classes at home, and since then the online side of her Pilates has been boosted to reach even more people worldwide.
Jane’s Pilates Celebration Of Movement Day is on Thursday 3 October, in Nanpantan Hall, Loughborough.
Nanpantan Hall is a wonderful and established venue for retreats and events, set in the heart of Charnwood Forest. Latterly the home of the Paget family, Nanpantan Hall is actually where family friend and film star David Niven stayed as a child between the two world wars prior to his Hollywood career.
The Hall will be ours for the day, and as well as the programme of events and refreshments Jane is putting on for the day, everyone will have lots of time to explore the delightful woodland estate and well-kept gardens too.
Planned throughout the day will be several events to stimulate, refresh and entertain everyone, with Pilates at the core (see what I did there?…) and extra activities like Qigong and a Sound Bath.
